Scoliosis, kyphosis, and other postural conditions occur because of muscular dysfunction. Weak and compensating muscles allow the spine to move out of alignment and over time can cause structural damage.

Surgery for example, focuses on changing the structure but ignores the muscle imbalances that created the problem in the first place. It is vital to address these muscular imbalances so that the body can heal.


Muscles can pull bones out of alignment. Scoliosis, kyphosis, and poor posture cause muscle imbalances and pull the spine into a compromised position.

The posture and musculoskeletal system play an essential role in conception, pregnancy and childbirth.


Postural Healing helps you prepare your body to
conceive, carry and give birth while decreasing the likelihood of unnecessary complications and pain.


Postural alignment exercises shift the pelvis and entire posture into a more natural position for a safer, more comfortable birth experience for both mama and baby.

Realigning your body postpartum helps it move back to its pre-pregnancy state more efficiently. Realignment also prepares your body to care for yourself and your baby - and return more quickly to your activities pain free.

Anna customizes a sequence of gentle movements and stretches designed to correct  your posture. Success in achieving your goals requires:

  • Consistently completing your personalized menu of exercises at home

  • Scheduling follow up visits to receive input, updates and new demands as your body shifts

  • Providing feedback and communicating with me.
