Learn three things to help relieve your foot pain and get back to doing the activities you love with Anna Forliti, a posture expert and pain relief coach.
The tips below can help you begin healing so you can get back to walking or running without pain!

- First, whole body postural alignment. Poor posture can cause a misalignment in the muscles, bones and joints of the lower body, resulting in foot pain. Hence, to promote proper posture, you definitely have to perform posture exercises on a regular basis. These will help to reduce tension and strain on your feet, ankles and hips.
- Second, Shoes that promote natural foot alignment. Shoes that are too tight or too narrow can cause foot pain, as well as posture issues. It’s really important to consider both your whole body alignment and foot alignment. To achieve natural foot alignment, select shoes that have a wide toe box, flat sole and flexible sole. This will ensure that the toes are not squeezed together and that the natural shape of the foot is maintained.
- Finally, Realigning the foot. Have you looked at your feet and observed your toes? Do they follow the bones in your foot or are they are squeezed together? Toes that are squeezed together can cause foot pain. Toe spacers are a great solution to help realign the foot and retrain the muscles so they work in an aligned posture. They are made of a flexible material and fit between your toes. As a result, They provide space for your toes to spread out and encourages the muscles in your feet to work more effectively.
